Surfing the Internet

I have been surfing the net today as I do many times throughout the week hoping to find great ideas to use in my classroom. I have found many and always update my blog in the links etc. I decided to write about this new feature I found called "Readability". The way it works is when you come to an article on the internet worth reading, you click on the readability tab in favorites or on your toolbar and it takes away all the other distracting pictures, advertisements etc. to help you focus on the article itself. When you go to the site, you simply right click and add it to your favorites to use anytime you want to utilize this feature surfing the net. I also added it to my favorites tool bar at the top for easy access. The site shows an example of how it works. I tried it on a few articles and discovered it to be beneficial to students with ADD/ADHD. Try it! You might just like it!
